Connect your AI

Bring the assistant you already use to your board.

Juscribe speaks MCP, the open standard AI apps use to work with other tools. Connect it once, and your assistant can read your board, file tickets, comment and move work along. It works as your agent, and it asks before it changes anything.

In Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini

Nothing to install. Add this address to your chat app, then sign in with your Juscribe account. No account yet? You can make one on the way. Do this on the app’s website. Its phone and desktop apps may not have the setting, but once it is added, it works there too.

Claude

Add a custom connector.

  1. On claude.ai, open Customize, then Connectors.
  2. Click Add, then Add custom connector.
  3. Name it Juscribe, paste the address above, and click Continue.
  4. Sign in with your Juscribe account.
  5. In a chat, open the + menu, then Connectors, and switch Juscribe on.

Every plan, on the web and in Claude Desktop. The free plan allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds it for the organization first, then each person connects.

ChatGPT

Add an app.

  1. On chatgpt.com, open Plugins in the sidebar.
  2. Click Add, then Create MCP. Plus has no Create MCP, so choose the item under Add that takes a server address.
  3. Name it Juscribe and paste the address above as the Server URL. Leave Authentication on OAuth.
  4. Tick I understand and want to continue, then click Create.
  5. Sign in with your Juscribe account.
  6. In a chat, pick the app with @ or from the + menu.

Plus and Pro, and Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces. Add it on the website, and it works in the ChatGPT Mac app too.

Gemini

Add a custom app.

  1. On gemini.google.com, open Settings, then Connected Apps.
  2. Under Custom apps, add a custom app and paste the address above.
  3. Click Next and sign in with your Juscribe account.

A personal Google account in the US, for people 18 or over, with Gemini in English and Keep Activity turned on. Work and school accounts cannot add one. Add it on the web, and it works in the Gemini phone app too.

In Cursor, Claude Desktop or VS Code

The server runs on your computer, from the @juscribe/mcp package. You need Node.js 20 or newer.

  1. Create an agent token

    In Juscribe, under Settings → Security → Agent Tokens. Everything your assistant does is credited to that token’s agent.

  2. Add the server to your tool

    Put this in its MCP settings, with your token in place of the placeholder:

    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "juscribe": {
          "command": "npx",
          "args": ["-y", "@juscribe/mcp"],
          "env": { "JUSCRIBE_API_TOKEN": "paste your token here" }
        }
      }
    }
    Cursor
    ~/.cursor/mcp.json
    Claude Desktop
    Settings → Developer → Edit Config, which opens claude_desktop_config.json
    VS Code
    .vscode/mcp.json, with "servers" in place of "mcpServers" and "type": "stdio" added

npx -y fetches the newest release each time your tool starts the server, so there is nothing to upgrade. Using Codex, Gemini CLI or another tool? The package’s page covers those too.

What your assistant can do

The same things in every app, working a ticket the way a teammate does.

Read your board

The board at a glance, any ticket in full with its comments and files, the iteration, your projects, and search.

File and edit tickets

One ticket or a whole list at once, a change to any field, notes added under a description, and a file it wrote attached to a ticket. In ChatGPT it can also put a photo or PDF you add to the chat on a ticket.

Move work along

Start a ticket, finish it, deliver it when you ask, cancel it, or put it above or below another.

Comment

Comments with @mentions, and changes to the comments it wrote.

Keep the steps and the waits

A ticket’s steps added, ticked off and reordered, and what a ticket is waiting on recorded or cleared.

Projects and labels

Start or update a project, and add a label your board does not have yet, when you ask for one.

What it cannot do

  • Delete a ticket or a project.
  • Change a board’s settings, its members or its plan.
  • Accept or reject finished work on its own judgement.

Accepting and rejecting are yours. In Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini it can record your decision when you ask it to. In Cursor, Claude Desktop or VS Code it cannot do either.

If signing in does not work

The page says the link has expired
A sign-in waits only a few minutes. Go back to your chat app and click Connect again.
The page says the sign-in service did not answer
The trouble is on our side. Go back to your chat app and try again in a few minutes.
The page says you have no board you can write in
Your assistant works on a board you can edit. Ask an owner of your organization to add you to one, or unarchive one of your own, then click Connect again.
ChatGPT signed in, but says it has no Juscribe tools
It was added with Create plugin. Remove it, then add it again with Create MCP.
Gemini has no Custom apps, or ChatGPT has no Create MCP
Look on the app’s website, since its phone and desktop apps may not have the setting. ChatGPT Plus has no Create MCP even there, and ChatGPT’s steps above say what to choose instead. Otherwise, if the website has none either, your account or plan cannot add one yet. The note under each app above says which can.
